International and Interdenominational

We believe and value diversity, we are a base that is made up of people of various denominations, ages, countries, languages, and cultures.

In 1993, Mitch Anderson, a typical Californian, decided to come to Pichilemu (Chile) to practice his favorite sport, surfing. At that time he perceived the needs of that city and the Lord put in his heart a vision that confirmed what he felt.

The vision was to begin a missionary training base and also a sports complex that would offer services to the community counseling through sports, counseling and discipleship.

In 1994, the Lord gave them a property where today is the base of Youth with a Mission in Pichilemu. The first months the Anderson family began their work together with a group of volunteers who arrived with their families from the base of Santiago. Among them came Chelo and Berta, Maximo and Susana, Pedro Hartley, Daniel Rebolledo among others.

From the time the base is in Pichilemu, we have been part of the training and discipleship of hundreds of students of different nationalities, many of them serving the Lord full time on missionary bases, churches or other nations.

It is our longing to see these opportunities for training and service multiplied in a great way and for that, we have a great vision for the future and many dreams and goals that we would love to see fulfilled.
